This year in September, there will be another edition of the Movable Book Society Conference in Boston. Like other years, pop-up and movable collectors, engineers and authors from all over the world gather to exchange information and point out winners for the much coveted Meggendorfer Prizes. One prize goes to the artist/paper engineer who has produced the most outstanding pop-up or movable book commercially published in the two preceding years. The second goes to the creator of the best pop-up or movable artist book. Paper engineer Matthew Reinhart, winner of 2014, raised the bar with his impressive Transformers pop-up book. The community of the MBS is very exited about who are going to be this years winners. If you would like to share your favorite nominees, go to the MBS FaceBook page and leave a comment or tweet with #MBSC16!
