Long ignored, the animated books, these books not like the others, return to the front of the scene more bounding than ever.
The French film "La face cachée du pop up" immerses itself in the heart of its history but also in its constant evolution, proof that the animated book is not a gadget but a true form of artistic expression.
In France, as an extension of the editorial experiences of the 80s and 90s, youth book professionals have enabled the pop up book to emancipate itself towards an increasingly inventive production.
A real creative heart has been created around authors, publishers, graphic designers and paper engineers all passionate about the editorial experience of the animated book.
In their hands, the pop up becomes a narrative element put at the service of the story and sharing with the reader.

The pop up has not finished revealing its hidden faces ....

With the participation of Marion Bataille, Anouck Boisrobert, Olivier Charbonnel, Jacques Desse, Bernard Duisit, Sophie Giraud, Gerard Lo Monaco, Etienne Mineur, Louis Rigaud, Philippe UG, Hélène Valotteau.

A great 52-minute film written by Jean-Marc Desrosiers
directed by Olivier Cossu and Jean-Marc Desrosiers
